Walking in Brentwood

Walking in LA with Google Maps, Walkscore
Google Maps gets walkable! (via grist)

All you have to do is click the “Walking” option in Google Maps to get directions. The function works for trips up to 6.2 miles long — so if you’re training for a 10k, you can easily map out a running route that takes real-time traffic and terrain into account now.
We’re still waiting on Google Transit for bus and subway directions — as well as a biking directions feature.

The more detailed look at the walkability of different LA neighborhoods is pretty interesting. Mid city tops the list with a score of 92.

Thanks, Siel (Green L.A. Girl for this)

I've mapped some of my Brentwood walks already.
