Healthy Aging

1. Meditate
2. Get a good night's sleep
3. Moderate aerobic exercise keep (our bodies and brains) healthy
4. Learn a new hobby, sport or language.
5. Eat an apple (or any fruit and vegetable with antioxidants) a day
6. Get 30-60 minutes of exercise a day
7. Keep your BMI (Body Mass Index) between 18.5-24.9 and waist size less than 35 inches
8. Practice tai chi (or yoga for flexibility)
9. Apply sunscreen (before you go outdoors & re-apply for prolong sun exposure)
10. Wear a wide-brim (SPF) hat to protect your face from sun damage

These are wonderful tips - I practice #s 3, 7, and 9 at all times and try really hard at #s 2 and 5! ;)
