Healthy Recipe

Wok-Seared Broccoli & Cauliflower

1 1/2 Tbsp canola oil
1 bunch of broccoli
1/2 bunch of cauliflower (buy whole & cut in halves)
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
1 c low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp orange juice

1. Wash vegetables, cut into bite size florets
2. Heat wok or skillet, add oil and swirl to coat pan
3. Place vegetables in pan and toss to coat with oil. Reduce heat to medium-high and saute for 4 minutes
4. Season with pepper and add broth. Cover and cook for 2 minutes or until crisp-tender
5. Add soy sauce and orange juice, toss for 2-3 minutes
