Chinese Food
Real Chinese food consists mostly of vegetables with very little meat. My mom makes stir-fried vegetables, cucumber chicken salad, steamed chicken with mushrooms and black bean sauce. A typical dinner starts with soup. Several dishes are shared between a family or a group of friends. Steamed rice is a perfect compliment to the dishes. My mom believes that drinking soup and walking daily keeps her healthy and young. She instilled these healthy habits in me when I was young. Thank you, mom.
